I have been a really big fan of Di’s for a number of years. Her winery is truly one of the great undiscovered treasures of the Australian wine industry. It is really an absolutely micro-boutique winery. Di does everything herself and does it with absolute perfection! I have never had anything from her that rates under 95 points on a really conservative day. She doesn’t have a formal cellar door but will always respond to a phone call and is prepared to meet with people at the winery itself in an uncomplicated way. I look forward to getting some of this new release to join the rest in my cellar – still drinking her 2000 ‘Duncan’ Cabernet and 2001 Shiraz at the moment!
Bob,
Please note that I also sell Genders wines – the current Duncan is 2002 and is beautiful as well as the Shiraz. Let me know if I can help you with Genders wine or other small McLaren Vale wineries
