My latest wine tasting at my home bar drinking d’Arenberg 2002 The Custodian Three Soils Limited Release Grenache – Part 1. This special release was recently purchased from the cellar door for $60 – a bargain for an interesting set of wines made from the same grape and in the same way – to highlight the difference soil types can make. d’Arenberg have been growing grenache since 1927 so they know a thing or two about this variety.
